BEGINNER WEIGHT TRAINING
This course is for everyone who wants to start their weight training journey in the gym, but don’t know how. I break down every exercise in the videos, so you understand how to use the machines and free weights without me being there next to you.
WHY IS IT WEIGHT TRAINING IMPORTANT?
Strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.
Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories.
Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls.
Strength training can reduce the signs and symptoms of many chronic conditions, such as arthritis, back pain, obesity, heart disease, depression and diabetes.
This programme runs for 12 weeks, by training 3 times a week. Don’t worry if you cannot make it 3 times to the gym every week, simply do the following workout the next time you are able to go. Your main goal is to perform 12 workouts in the first phase before you move to the next one.
You’ll find a progressive, 3 phase cycle in this plan, each one is more challenging than the previous one, increasing your exercise library with new movements.
You’ll move from the easy-to-use machines to the more difficult free weights to keep up the progress on your weight training.
I also provide a downloadable guide, you can print this and mark your progress during the weeks.
