OVERNIGHT VANILLA PROTEIN OATS

Gotta love some tasty overnight oats: it's so easy and quick to prepare, and then it basically 'cooks' itself for you. Waking up to a tasty, fresh breakfast waiting for you is the best!
- 1⁄2 cup oats
- 1 1⁄2 tsp chia seeds
- 2⁄3 cup almond milk; plus 50 ml for the next day
- 1⁄2 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 2 tbsp raspberries
- 2 tbsp blueberries
1 - In a large container combine the oats, chia seeds, protein powder and milk.
Mix until all the ingredients are well combined. Place in the fridge
for 8 hours or overnight.
2 - Next day: remove the oats from the fridge, and add the extra almond milk to
make sure the oats are not too thick.
3 - Top it up with the raspberries and blueberries.
For some extra crunch add cocoa nibs, chocolate chips, seeds or nuts
If you're a can-barely-eat-in-the-morning- kind of person and you have leftovers, you can keep them in the fridge for 3 days in an airtight container.
Not a vanilla fan? Easy, just use a plant-based protein powder with another flavour ;)
